Emergency Preparedness makes sense for everyone. \u00a0But you need to Plan,\u00a0<\/strong>Prepare and Practice to assure a successful outcome.<\/strong><\/div>\n

Here are a couple of reminders in case you need to update or create an\u00a0emergency action plan of your own<\/div>\n

  • Start with solid templates from a reputable source. \u00a0It may provide\u00a0a pretty complete plan, but review and amend it heavily to fit your\u00a0organization.<\/li>\n
  • Spend time training your associates. \u00a0Make adjustments to your plans\u00a0based on their feedback and issues that arose during training.<\/li>\n
  • Laws vary, so be sure to include items required in your\u00a0municipality. \u00a0Common sense probably tells you to include evacuation maps\u00a0and a headcount system, anyway.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
